WOS Is Back!
Finally after loooong period of time this blog is back to business!
Lately I have been very busy with new things in my life, I have started to moderate a local Israeli Shrimp forum and invest energy in marketing and developing the hobby in Israel while helping out new hobbyists to get into the hobby on the right foot so they can catch the “shrimp virus” as much as possible .
We currently have very little shrimp community around here that have to grow and gained more respect from the other aquarium Hobbyists and shop owners which at the moment almost completely ignored us (except maybe two stores) so it’s a top priority issue for me.
Luckily I’m glad to tell you Ive already seen results in this investment and the forum created a full “Shrimp month“ dedicated especially for us and although it killed my spare time completely it was worth it ! I can see more people catching up with this hobby and show more interest so I hope thing will continue to go in this direction .
Also I’m working now on a new massive shrimp rack in my house (pictures will follow in the next days) so its big time consuming and that along with work , family life and other thing going on in my life left us with no energy or time to write this blog but don’t worry I’m not giving up 😉
So let me share with you my near future plans for this Blog .
First on the short term I hope to keep updating this blog back normally on regular basis and on the long term I’m planning to make changes in the design of this blog too (and maybe on the blog server host) since I’m little tired of this blog look and lots of people complains they can’t navigate comfortably in here ..
Anyway stay tuned for new updates and BTW the first post after this break is a debt I have for German friends and to my readers that wanted to hear more about the Hanover pet show I was attended not while ago.

Why must all good things come to an end?‏
The event has ended but personally I wish it never did !
Where to start ?? Wow it was just amazing event in all aspects!
Amazing shrimps from Germany (and abroad) with the combination of shrimps lovers from all over the world it was (at least for me ) the highlight of this year.
I want to take advantage of this stage and thank a number of great people I met in Germany :
Thomas Heinen Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and great reception even though you were busy over the head .
Philipp Gardemin for a wonderful and enjoyable evening at the come toghter party and more great time after that .

Also whould like to thank Imke Jungjohann although you could not come you helped me a lot before the trip (and every other time I needed) so thanks again Imke !
Also to Mura Kilic who helped and it was nice to meet you (and your girlfriend ) at the exhibition even it was just for a short time ..
In addition thanks to Johannes Gümmer from Garnelen-Guemmer Berlin who was running with me around Berlin like we old times friends and found common ground together very quickly.
Chris Lukhaup for the warm hospitality at the Dennerle exhibit place ,
and finally to the entire team of the shrimp Championships for perfect organization ! it was an honor for me to be an ambassador of this competition.

WOW What an excitement!
Shrimp fans get ready to be thrilled !
The 5th International Shrimp Championship is about to arrive and will take place from 25th to 27th January 2013 at Hanover, Germany as part of the Heimtiermesse Hanover pet show.
The event was conceived with the idea of presenting the hobby of keeping freshwater invertebrates to those interested in this sphere, and also to organize an international competition for shrimp breeders.
this probably will be the biggest event ever taken for shrimp fans with around 250 tanks !!
the contest will be in 10 different categories to cover all the species and grades correctly on the market and since the passing year was full with new developments in the matter of new patterns and colors in shrimps I’m sure this year will provide us a stunning great show that every shrimp lover must not miss , and with a lot of new shrimps and breeders on the market the competition is now bigger and harder and the bar is being pushed up again and again every day so there is much to wait for .

here are the details for this event :

This blessed initiative is barely got up in air not while ago and already attracted many stores and breeder’s from around the world and its keep getting bigger by the day !
